Pursuant to Article 4(1) of Legislative Decree 109/2007, Italy can order the freezing of funds of UN designated individuals and entities pending the EU’s implementation of sanctions.
Law 431/2001 provides authority for the implementation of sanctions for preventing and combatting terrorist financing.
