Norway is a UN member state and implements UN sanctions. Although not a member of the EU, Norway often aligns itself with the sanctions and designations made by the EU via the Act on the Implementation of International Sanctions (Sanctions Act). Norway implements export controls via the Export Control Act and Export Control Regulations.
